Last night went to Huipeng's house, my father in-law give me a 富瓶 (BaoPing). As he said, this have been pray by a very powerful Tibet Monk which is 3rd generation reborn. This 富瓶 will bring me good luck, wealth, good business, health and all the good things. Cross fingers this 富瓶 will works...... Must work!....

Last night went to my sister's house for dinner. So bored... lucky i bring along my camera set too.. so i can play with my EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens again. Is quite amazing, without flash i can get very good and sharp photos. I just adjust the setting to 1/125 f1.8 ISO1600. Due to high ISO, the pic have more noise but...... Everythings looks fine to me....

My 50mm Prime lens

Got my EF 50mm f/1.8 II Prime Lens last 2 weeks. Only yesterday got time to play with it. Cost me RM300 for this lens. Result, I am very happy with it. Some photos that i took with my EF 50mm f/1.8 II.

Oh... this is not using my DSLR... is took using my K750i.

The R monster is back

Even since the old GT-R R34 (RB26T), Nissan finally launched the new GT-R in recent Tokyo Motor Show. The 2009 GT-R will get a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 473 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque. That will be the MONSTER of the road. 0-100km only takes 3.5 sec. It come with 6 colors option; Ultimate Metal Silver, Titanium Grey, Dark Metal Grey, Super Black, White Pearl and Red.

Resident Evil Figure

Resident Evil Movie is hitting the town again. Every way and everyone is talking about the movie and Milla Jovovich. Even toy maker such as Hottoys also try to produce Resident Evil figure for their Q4. But sad to say the figure they coming out is not the movie version but the computer game version. How nice if they produce a figure with Milla Jovovich face.

End up with Lowepro

At first I wanna get the Boblbee for my camare... but i end up bought this Lowepro Sideline Shooter. Is quite cheap. Normal selling for RM340 but i got it for RM230 at Midvalley PhotoData. Now my 400D got a new home, can stay will all his lens friends too... All under one roof. :D

So cheap

Yesterday in Midvalley Ace Hardware jalan-jalan. There were many cheap Japanese Imported plastic container. All kind of shape and design only sell for RM5. Saw this multipurpose small container, think of getting it for my camera accessories. So bought it.... It is so usefull, can put in all my camera cleaning kits, extra battery and 2 compartment for your extra CF cards. Cool...... Sorry for the blur photos... not from my SLR.. is took with my K750i.

Exs/S Gundam U.C.0087

I used to play Gundam 1/100 model kits. But once Bandai launch their 1/144 Gundam Fix Figuration (GFF), I give up the modeling kits coz the GFF is more detail and nicer. In another word... i am MALAS (lazy in English). Took a few photos of my favorite GFF in my collections. The Exs/S Gundam U.C.0087 series. This Exs/S Gundam GFF is very detail and full of gears and weapons. When you hold in hand is very solid. It come with a stands too... Took this GFF with a white color background. Will try with other color background and post later.

Eye On Malaysia

Eye On Malaysia is the icon of the 2007 Visit Malaysia Year in Taman Titiwangsa. Last night AhTak, Huipeng and myself went there give a visit and took some photos. This will be my first time taking night view with my DSLR. But taking photos beside lake at night is not recommend coz there was many NYAMUK attack...... anyway is a fun night and get to learn something from Ahtak.

You wanna be naughty?

I am not a PVC figure collector. But this Yamato 1/6 Poison is very HOT. Imaging a cop dress up like this will make alot of people commit crime just get in-touch with her. This Poison is made by master sculptor Mitsumasa Yoshizawa. Poison comes complete with highly details metal chains, handcuffs, arm rings, and display base. Is a must get item, will cost me RM258 or 7,140円 in Japan. But now is pre-ordering, will only get this item by November 2007.

Swarovski Close-up

SInce the previous Eva-01 been comment about the white balance not enough and photo too yellowish, i have adjusted my camera's white balance last night and give it a try again. Took my wife's Swarovski ring as subject. This is the outcome.....




Oh.. this is not Swarovski... is some Metal balls ring. One of my wife collections.

EVA-01 Type F again

I took photos of my EVA-01 Type F again. This time is more details, more posing and better lighting+shadow. Shoot under my DIY Studio Booth.... hihihihi... :D But still not Sharp enough :( Already set my camera 6sec f29.... still not sharp

D.I.Y Studio Booth

Thanks for all Sifus/Masters who teach me alot on photography. How can i take good, detail and nice lighting photo for my toys? After some tips from all the master, i decided to make myself a DIY studio booth for my toys collection shooting. By putting the subject (toys) in the booth, correct amount of lighting go thru the booth will create a perfect soft lighting and shadow on the subject.

This is the ingredients & costs:
Carton Box : FOC (from office)
1x Manila cardboard : RM0.70
2x Tracing paper : RM1.20
1x Double side tape : RM2.00
2x Osram 40W bulbs : RM 7.80
2x Ikea light : RM50
Grand total : RM61.70

Is abit expensive for DIY booth but is worth it coz the photo outcome is very nice. Will show some photos soon. Stay tune folks...
